Kathy Hause Walker was born and raised in Somerset County, PA. She is the Gold Star Mother of Ssgt. Brian Hause, who died in Iraq October, 2008 She has a great respect for the military because there were many service members in her family, including three of her four sons and two of her granddaughters. She is retired from Somerset Veterinary Hospital where she was a veterinary assistant and office manager. She enjoys time with her family the most, but also mission trips and time on the beach. The Post-9/11 U.S. Armed Forces Memorial at Patriot Park is very important to her because of their focus on keeping the memories of our fallen alive.
